Winner of the Short Film Palme d'Or at the Festival De Cannes 2015
Written and directed by Ely Dagher
A commission to create the main titling for the award winning short animated film. The resulting design process & sketches drew from an analogue Saul Bass/Hitchcockian inspiration, infused and rooted in traditional Arabic calligraphy (Nastaʿlīq and Kufi scripts), and born from the belly of a photocopy machine.

Synopsis
Disillusioned with his life in the suburbs of segregated Beirut, Omar's unusual discovery lures him into the depth of the city. Immersed into a world that is so close yet so isolated from his reality, he finds himself struggling to keep his attachments, his sense of home.
