Please Undle Smart and Safe: A Field Guide to Going Out in NYC

Zine
A two-colour harm reduction zine for Queer Nighlife Community Center (QNCC), a first-of-its-kind beacon of creativity, safety, and opportunity for queer and transgender artists, nightlife workers, and the nearby communities of East New York and Brownsville.

P.U.S.S. (Please Undle Smart and Safe) is a manual for maneuvering the NYC party drugs. The publication aims to promote best practices when going out with the intention of promoting safer nightlife spaces for all.

The format of the 48-page zine follows the trajectory of a night out: from the pregame, to the club, to the afters. Topics covered include a quick and dirty guide to common party drugs, information about drug half life and body toxicity, drug administration routes, the benefits of rest and sobriety, chemsex, how venues can promote drug safety, what to do in case of an emergency, and an appendix containing helpful harm reduction resources.

Distributed free of charge in queer health clinics and nightlife spaces around the city. All information was reviewed by a team of medical professionals with expertise in queer nightlife settings.
